Linear and switching power supplies circuits design

Linear and switching power supplies electronic circuits design projects and schematics.

1.8V DC DC converter using ISL8012

Using the ISL8012 high efficiency, monolithic, synchronous step-down DC DC converter can be designed a very simple DC DC converter electronic project that can support a maximum output current up to 2A (continuous output current ) from a 2.7V to 5.5V input supply.

ISL8012 uses a current control architecture to deliver very low duty cycle operation at high frequency with fast transient response and excellent loop stability.

5A 12 volt switching power supply design using LTC3789 regulator

Using the LTC3789 high performance buck-boost switch-ing regulator controller , designed by Linear Technology can be designed a very simple and high efficiency 12 volts power supply electronic project .
The constant-frequency, current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable frequency of up to 600kHz, while an output current feedback loop provides support for battery charg¬ing. With a wide 4V to 38V (40V maximum) input and output range and seamless, low noise transitions between operating regions, the LTC3789 is ideal for automotive, telecom and battery-powered systems.

5 volts 3A Dc DC converter using LTC3113 IC

Using the LTC3113 fixed frequency, buck-boost DC DC converter can be designed various power supplies circuits that operates from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides low noise operation, making it well suited for RF and precision measurement applications.
The LTC3113 can deliver up to 3A of continuous output current to satisfy the most demanding applications.
