LT3758 12 volt power supply

This power supply circuit is designed based on the LT3758 current mode, DC DC controller which is capable of generating either positive or negative output voltages. The LTC3758 can be configured as either a boost, flyback, SEPIC or inverting converter.

The operating frequency of LT3758 can be set with an external resistor over a 100kHz to 1MHz range, and can be synchronized to an external clock using the SYNC pin.
The LT3758 supports a wide input voltage range from 5.5V up to 100V .

The LT3758 has overvoltage protection functions to protect the converter from excessive output voltage overshoot during start-up or recovery from a short-circuit condition.
Also as you can see in these circuits diagrams , the LT3758 circuit require few external components and is very simply to design .
