LM2576 simple lab power supply electronic project

A simple lab power supply electronic project can be designed using this circuit diagram which is based on the LM2576 monolithic integrated regulator that provide all the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator .
This simple lab power supply circuit diagram is designed to provide an variable output voltage between 1.2 to 35 volts at a maximum current of 3A .
As you can see in the schematic circuit this LM2576 power supply require few external electronic components and an input unregulated dc voltage of about 40 volts.

Im going to make it soon for 32v input and 1.5 to 25v output . and report all result.

Just to make sure I've got this correct: Since the max amperage output is 3A, the inductor coils should also be rated for 3A too, right?

the amperage of coil needs to be at least 3A, but is better to be little more than 3
